Computer Policies:
- Patrons wishing to use an internet computer must first register at the internet desk
and agree to abide by our Internet Use Policies.
- Anyone under the age of 17 must use a computer in the Children's Library. Photo
ID will be required to verify age.
- Library fines must be paid prior to using the computer.
- Access time is limited to one hour per session, one session per day. Additional time
may be available if no other patrons are waiting to use the computers.
- Patrons may not use their own software programs on any library computer.
- Patrons must furnish their own disks if they wish to download files.
- No files may be saved on library computers.
- Misuse of the computer or Internet access will result in the loss of computer privileges
and may result in the loss of other library privileges.
- At times, library staff can assist with basic computer use, but staff cannot train individuals
to use a computer or to use the Internet. If a patron has difficulty using the computer or
the Internet, library staff can advise as to reference materials and local computer classes.
- Only one person is allowed at an internet computer at a time, unless otherwise authorized.
Printing Policies:
- Black-and-white copies cost 20¢ per page.
- Color copies cost 50¢ per page.
- Patrons are responsible for the cost of all pages printed--including partial or unwanted
pages.
- If you are unsure of how many pages a document will be printed on, please ask a staff
member for help with the Print Preview feature to avoid paying for unnecessary copies.
