Winter Reading Club started on November 22nd. Visit the Children's
Desk any time before February 1st to sign up. The theme is "Book a
Trip @ Your Library," and it will end on March 3, 2012.



Storytimes will be on hiatus between Christmas and New Year's.
 They will resume on Wednesday, January 4th with the possibility of a new
age-combined format. Talk to Deb about any questions and suggestions.

Lapsit Storytimes for babies and toddlers (0-2 years old)
are held on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. across from the community room.

Preschool Storytimes (3-5 years old)
will now be held on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the storytime area.



The R.E.A.D. Therapy Dogs have been coming to the library several times a month
to hear stories from children. The Paws for Books sessions this month will be:

  • Wednesday, December 14, at 3:45 p.m. with Emmit & Truman, and their handler Sarah Saladin

  • A special "Reindeer Paws" will be on Saturday, December 17, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.

  • Tuesday, December 27, at at 6:00 p.m. with Anna, and her handler Barbara Coombe
